Privacy

Our own visitor counting uses no cookies. We record the page, country, language, device type and referring site; visitors are counted with a hash that changes every day. Raw IP addresses are not stored.

We also count, anonymously and in totals, which link or site brought a visit, using only the campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and the name of the referring site. This is kept only in your browser tab for that visit, with no cookies and no IP address or other personal information, and is used only for statistics. Saving a prediction, creating an account, turning on notifications or opening a partner link is added to the same anonymous totals.

Prediction-game members sign in with Google or through our Telegram bot. We keep the account id, and the Google email or Telegram username only to show you on My account which account you signed in with — never to anyone else. No name or Google photo is kept. If you open an invite link, your browser keeps the inviter's code in the g8ref cookie for 30 days so the inviter can be credited. Members can download or delete their data on the My account page. The profile picture you pick or upload is shown on your public profile, the leaderboards and your menu. An uploaded picture is cropped, resized, stripped of metadata and checked automatically (the image is sent to Anthropic for the check only) or by an admin. Files are deleted when you change the picture or delete your account. We do not keep your Google photo.

Settings such as theme, favourite teams and odds format stay in your browser.

If you turn on phone notifications, we keep the delivery address your browser creates for them, together with your starred matches and followed teams, only to send the alerts. It is not linked to you or to an account, and it is deleted as soon as you turn notifications off or revoke them in your browser.

We also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga) and receives the pages you view, your approximate location, device and browser details and a random identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We switch off Google signals and ad personalisation. Nothing is sent to Google Analytics when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies; how Google uses data is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
